pub(crate) fn tick_ns() -> u64Expand description
Return TICK_NSEC, the kernel’s timing granularity.
The coarse clocks are updated from the timer interrupt and nowhere else, so what clock_getres() reports for one is the tick period: 1ms on a HZ=1000 kernel, 4ms on HZ=250. This is the bound EEVDF puts on the lag a task carries, see entity_lag(), and CONFIG_HZ is not otherwise readable without a kernel config that may not be mounted.
